Susanne (Susie) Clare, NP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in integrative medicine.
With a robust background in acute care, primary care, and integrative medicine, she provides exceptional and personalized care to our patients.
Susie graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She began her professional journey in 1998 and dedicated 16 years to post-thoracic surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. In 2013, Susie transitioned to family nurse practitioner, driven by her passion for caring for patients throughout all life stages.
In 2016, Susie's dedication to holistic health led her to the Institute of Functional Medicine, where she gained expertise in integrative approaches. Since joining The AIM Clinic in 2018, Susie has provided patients with individualized, collaborative healthcare, focusing on disease prevention and addressing root causes of illness.
Susie's areas of expertise include Lyme disease & co-infections, cancer integrative care, primary care, weight loss, long COVID, longevity, mold toxicity, women's health, digestive health, chronic pain, arthritis, hormone imbalance, autoimmunity, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. She utilizes advanced treatment modalities such as nutrition, botanical medicine, IV therapy, PRP & A2M injections, ozone therapy, Prolozone®, EBOO therapy, pharmaceuticals, bio-identical hormones, peptide therapy, laser therapy, HBOT, SOT therapy, and shockwave therapy.
Outside of her professional life, Susie enjoys skiing, CrossFit, and spending quality time with her family. Her commitment to forming meaningful relationships with her patients drives her passion for helping others achieve optimal health. Susie is currently accepting new patients.

Last week, I had an appointment with a nurse practitioner, Susie, at the AIM Clinic. It was the most wonderful experience! Susie was very intelligent, knowledgeable, kind, and especially nonjudgmental. Medical professionals frustrate me, AIM is different and here is why. I have spent way too much money and time searching for answers to various medical challenges. Each professional insists they have the answer yet after making a huge commitment in money, time, and trust, I am rarely any better off than where I started. General practice medical professionals don't often have experience to treat specific symptoms in various specialty areas. Specialty professionals treat specialty areas without looking at the whole body of complex systems.
AIM's Suzanne Clare (Nurse Practitioner) is different. Suzie excels in listening and is very proactive anticipating my needs. Her demeanor is different; she explains complex issues in a way that makes sense to me as a non-medical practitioner. She is tactical (what we can do now & what to expect) and strategic (this is what you can anticipate over the longer term).
Her approach uses bloodwork results which we reviewed together, and with her guidance I had the opportunity to see those results improve. ("Here’s what may be the issue, let’s see what the bloodwork says, then what we can do about it.") Treatment included prescriptions and supplements which complemented Suzie’s experience at both Brigham and Women’s hospital and 2 years in a holistic practice. At AIM she does both. If you are serious about a solution and ready to do your part with potential dietary and lifestyle changes, I highly recommend AIM and specifically Suzanne Clare, Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, the front-end staff are amazingly helpful, efficient and have solid follow-through. This practice is like no other and I am delighted to write a review for a medical practice!
